FAQs
How do the Data Quality Alerts work?
Data Quality Alerts notify users of intensity outliers and YoY variation in their utility data (refreshed nightly). Measurabl's algorithms are constantly combing data to ensure these types of inconsistencies are found and addressed.
If there's a reason for the anomaly or outlier, how do I communicate that?
After navigating to your site and clicking on the "Data Quality Alerts" tab, clicking on an alert will allow you to add/edit notes. The more specific, the better.
If I don't know the reason for the anomaly or outlier, then what?
Instances like this are why Data Quality Alerts are so crucial. Our "Portfolio Trends" and "Site Trends" tabs provide granular level data that can be filtered by metric. You will want to find and resolve the outlier, which could involve editing manual reading entries that were added incorrectly.
What will trigger a data quality alert?
The following will trigger data quality alerts within Measurabl (all alerts are based on annual consumption and are triggered for a specific utility type, i.e. electric, gas, fuel oil, water, not for all utilities combined). These thresholds are the same for all sites regardless of property type and country.
