The 'Change Log' report is available for download for Portfolio & Subgroup level users, that focuses on changes made to buildings, spaces, meters, and meter readings - including additions, updates, and deletions. For example, if you add a new building to your portfolio or change the details of an existing space, those actions will be tracked in the 'Change Log'. This is a list of all actions that are tracked on the report:
- A list of creations, updates, and deletions of buildings, spaces, meters, and meter readings.
- For each change…
- The date and time the change occurred
- What entity (building, meter, reading…) was changed
- What property of the entity was changed
- What the value was changed to
- What the value was changed from
- Who made the change
The 'Change Log' will report changes that were made by users within your portfolio as well as changes made by Measurabl employees, the Measurabl application, or connected services like ENERGY STAR and Utility Sync.
NOTE: The Change Log's records begin on November 20, 2023. No changes were recorded prior to that date. Measurabl will retain logs for 2 years to the day, so you may request a change log for a period up to 2 years in the past (earliest date Nov 20, 2023).
How to export the 'Change Log':
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Reports' tab on the left menu.
- Select 'Change Log' from the list of available exports.
- Select the date range for which you want to download the list of changes, and click 'Export'.
- The report will begin processing, and will download shortly as a XLSX file.
