You can export performance reports from Measurabl at both the portfolio level and the site level. These reports provide useful insights into how your sites have performed over time, and will help you prioritize where to focus your efforts to improve sustainability across your portfolio. They’ll also let you take your data offline to easily share it with others, both internally and externally.
This article will walk through each of the reports in Measurabl, and where/how to export them.
PORTFOLIO-LEVEL EXPORTS:
NOTE: These exports are only available to portfolio level members.
1. Sustainability Report (PDF)
This report includes high-level trend analysis of sustainability performance across energy, water, and waste, together with breakdowns of the portfolio by property type, capped off with "percent complete" figures of any third-party reports in your account.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Reports' tab.
- Click 'Export PDF' on the top left card.
2. All Sites Export (CSV)
This report shows all of the property details of the sites in that group.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Reports' tab.
- Click 'Export CSV' on the middle left card.
3. Data Quality Report (XLSX)
The Data Quality Report offers a very detailed view of your data by site. It includes all basic data on your sites and meters, annual total energy/water use and cost, fuel-specific annual use and cost, GHG emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Tenant Scope 3), and annual/monthly usage totals for each meter. The report also shows you the % change in annual use/cost between the two years you’re evaluating, which can help you flag potential data quality issues.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Reports' tab.
- Click 'Export XLSX' on the middle right card.
4. Portfolio Trends Export
This tool has several metrics to choose from including total energy/water usage, energy/water use intensity, energy/water cost, energy/water cost intensity, emissions, emissions intensity, ENERGY STAR 1-100 score, and more.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Analytics' tab > Click 'Portfolio Trends' (or Subgroup Trends) at the top of the page.

5. CRREM Export
The CRREM, the Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor, tool is a methodology for analyzing buildings' and portfolios' carbon emissions performance against the carbon reduction pathways prescribed by the Paris Agreement’s 1.5° climate warming scenario. See here for more detailed information.
SITE-LEVEL EXPORTS:
NOTE: These exports are available to portfolio & site level members.
1. Site Overview Export (PDF)
This report downloads all of the cards on the site overview page as well as other important site details.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Sites' tab > Type & select the desired property.
- On the 'Site Overview' page, click the 'Export Report' button in the top right.
2. Meter Specific Exports (CSV)
Within a site’s 'Utilities' tab, you can export reports on use data for a specific meters. This is a good way to store usage information offline or share it with other team members.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Sites' tab > Type & select the desired property.
- Click the 'Utilities' tab on the left menu > Navigate to the desired metric: Energy, Water, or Waste.
- Click directly on a meter > Scroll down to the 'Readings' section the meter.
- Filter the readings to 'Full History' > Click the download button in the top right of the Meters Readings table.
3. Site Sustainability Performance Report (PDF)
*Only available to portfolio members*
This export provides all of the core environmental KPIs including energy and water use, certification status, and projects for a single site.
How to download:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click on the 'Reports' tab.
- Click 'Export PDF' on the top right card.
