Sites that you’re tracking in Measurabl will be sold and will need to be removed from your portfolio overtime. There are also other reasons why you may need to remove a site from your portfolio in Measurabl - for example when a site gets pulled in from your ENERGY STAR account, but doesn’t belong to your portfolio.
This article shows why/how to delete a site from your portfolio as well as the differences between deleting a site vs marking it as inactive.
NOTE: Marking a property inactive or removing a site is a function only available to those with portfolio level permissions.
DELETED SITES vs. INACTIVE SITES:
There are a few reasons why you would want to mark your sites as 'Inactive' and have them remain accessible in Measurabl instead of permanently deleting them from your portfolio.
NOTE: Marking a site as 'Inactive' does NOT deactivate that site's Utility Sync accounts. Make sure to go into Measurabl and deactivate all of the utility accounts for the site before marking it as 'Inactive' - otherwise data will be continuously pulled.
