Getting your site’s basic information into Measurabl is the first step in ensuring the best possible data coverage and quality. The guidance below shows you how to edit basic information for sites including, Property Details, Control, Spaces, Lifecycle Events, and Ordinances.
Site Profile Definitions:
- Control Type & Percent (%) Owned: Whether you OWN or LEASE the property. If you OWN the property, then you will add the percentage of the site that you own. (Note that if you leave this blank, 100% ownership will be assumed).
- Gross Leasable Area (GLA): the amount of floor space available to be rented to a commercial property; specifically, this is the total floor area designed for tenant occupancy and exclusive use. The Gross Leasable Area is the sum of the floor area of all the spaces you've entered as Leasable Space.
- Tenancy Information: Whether the property is single-tenant or multi-tenant.
- Spaces: Leasable space and common area broke out by each of the individual sections in your building (Offices, Medical Centers, Education, Indoor Parking, etc.).
How to Edit Site Profile Information:
- From the Measurabl landing page, click the 'Sites' tab > Type & select your property.
- Click the 'Edit' button to the right of the site name.
- In the pop-out window, you’ll see several tabs at the top, with the active tab highlighted.
- Property Details: Here you’ll fill out basic fields such as Name, Address, Year Built, Class, & Custom ID.
- Control: Fill out the Control Type, Percent (%) Owned, Tenancy information, and occupancy readings. Click here to see more information about this.
- Spaces: This tab notes the types of the various spaces at your site, their floor area, and whether they are leasable or common area. Click here to see more information about adding/editing/removing spaces.
- Lifecycle Events: Here you can add Bought/Sold Dates, Initial Construction, Fair Market Value Appraised, & Major Renovations. Click here to see more information about adding events.
- Ordinances: File and track your site’s benchmarking ordinances in the this tab. Please see here for more information.
- Property Details: Here you’ll fill out basic fields such as Name, Address, Year Built, Class, & Custom ID.
- Be sure to click the green checkmark at the bottom to save any changes.
NOTE: Be sure that your property (if it is an ENERGY STAR site) is shared with full access into Measurabl, so that you and your colleagues can edit the property details.
