There are five primary roles for Measurabl users: Portfolio Manager/Members, Subgroup Managers/Members, and Site Managers. This article describes each of these roles and what permissions they have in Measurabl.
To see how to invite a new user, see here.
To give read-only access to a user, see here.
- Portfolio Manager is reserved to only one user of a portfolio. This is typically the user in company that is using Measurabl the most.
- Dependent on your company's subscription tier with Measurabl, it may include the following tools, and would apply to this user role:
- Crossview where they will be able to assess all of the subgroups/portfolios (that they are involved with) with a bird's eye view that helps to spot data collection & quality issues and to identify top/bottom performers.

- Document Repository
- The Portfolio Manager will have visibility to every single Subgroup and Site that is created.
- Portfolio Managers will have access to the full suite features available at the portfolio level view, but only respective to their portfolio. This includes Portfolio Overview, Subgroup Trends, Reports, GRESB/CDP, and Utility Sync.
- The Portfolio Manager can add or remove users from the portfolio (except for the Portfolio Manager).
- The Portfolio Manager can reassign the Portfolio Manager role to another Portfolio Member.
- They are also the only ones who can delete the portfolio.
- Portfolio Members are the primary stakeholders and users of the Measurabl application. They have permissions for the following:
- A portfolio level view and the ability to edit data across the portfolio.
- Accessibility to select features that are not available to site managers, including the Portfolio Overview, Portfolio Trends, Subgroups, Reports, GRESB/CDP, and Utility Sync.
- The internal staff at your company, including global team members and real estate team members will be invited as Portfolio Members. This high-level team will be responsible for maintaining the portfolio, sites, and users.
- These users will have access to any GRESB/CDP reports at the portfolio level. To have access to GRESB/CDP reports at a subgroup/fund level, they will need to be added to the subgroup as a Subgroup Member.
- Portfolio members can create subgroups within the portfolio, but do not have access to all of the subgroups within the portfolio (if portfolio member #1 creates a subgroup, they will need to be add portfolio member #2 as a subgroup member for portfolio member #2 to have access).
