GRESB FAQ
- Does GRESB want me to report on major renovation projects and buildings under construction?
- Yes, all portfolio assets should be included in your report. The construction module allows further detailing of new construction and major renovation activities. Furthermore, buildings under construction or renovation will not be included in like-for-like comparisons but will accrue to absolute performance.
- Set the life-cycle stage on your site so it will be rolled up correctly for the final portfolio-level report.
- We bought and sold assets this year. How do I note that correctly?
- Add bought and sold dates directly to sites in Measurabl; learn how to mark them properly here.

- What is the difference between like-for-like and absolute performance?
- Absolute performance is a stand-alone measurement of total consumption and output across performance indicators for your reporting entity. Like-for-like excludes sites that have changed ownership or have incomplete data during the reporting period. More on like-for-like here.

- How do I mark a site as "Tenant Controlled" (previously indirectly managed)?
- Measurabl will automatically assign your properties as Landlord or Tenant Controlled on the Included Sites page in our GRESB module based on whether or not you have common area spaces. If you want to report it as the opposite control type, in the GRESB module you can click the vertical ellipses menu, and then click “Report as Landlord/Tenant Controlled”.
- You can also modify control-type at the meter-level by changing between “Paid by Landlord” and “Paid by Tenant”, which is important if you have a Landlord Controlled property with leasable spaces.
- How do I mark the areas of a building that each meter serves?

- Site is “inactive” on the 'Sites' page - Go to the sites page, and use the toggle all the way on the right-hand side of the table to turn it back on (active)
- Site is “Leased” - Only sites which are “Owned” are reported to GRESB
- Site was sold before the reporting year
- Site was bought after the reporting year
- Site was under construction or major renovation for all of the reporting year (not a single day during the period was operational)
- By clicking on individual site, and then the 'Edit' button, you can view and modify any of these property details if they are inaccurate.
