Users can add in a visual aid for demand usage in Explorer called a Demand Threshold. This is different from a demand alert, and adding a demand threshold will not create or alter any demand alerts. Creating a demand threshold will add a dotted line to the Explorer graph with which users can quickly compare their current and historical demand performance to.
- Navigate to the building in Explorer, and click on the “Overlays” button in the top right corner of the chart.
- Click on the “plus” symbol to the right of “Thresholds” in the overlays window. If any thresholds already exist they can be toggled on/off by clicking on “Thresholds,” however this will not create a new one.
- Enter your desired threshold value, this is what will appear on the Explorer chart. Click “Save” when finished.
- The demand threshold will now show up as a straight dotted line. The threshold can be toggled on and off at any time in the “Overlays” menu in the top right corner.
- Threshold details can be viewed, and thresholds can be edited, by clicking on the “Overlays” tab in the bottom left corner, under the graph (this is different from the “Overlays” menu in the top right corner).
- Select “Edit” in the bottom right corner once the “Overlays” tab has been selected to change an existing demand threshold.
