View a Building Upgrade
Building Upgrades shows all of your energy and water related upgrades for all properties in your portfolio in Comply.
First, click on the Dashboard header on the top row and click on the tab that says “Building Upgrades.” This will display a list of all the upgrades.
Clicking on the name of an upgrade will show how the upgrade is performing (actual vs. expected savings).
Comply also provides a Measurement and Verification Report (M&V Report) as part of its ComplyPremium service. This report provides a more rigorous, weather normalized, understanding of retrofits, than Building Upgrades. It includes a comprehensive analysis of projected savings and performance against the payback period.
Add a New Building Upgrade
- Navigate to a building
- Select the “Building Upgrades” tab
- Select “Define an Upgrade”
- Add the required criteria:
- Name of the Building Upgrade
- Upgrade Categories (pick list with ‘other’ option)
- The date the upgrade started and finished
- Pre-upgrade condition, post-upgrade condition (for example, standard toilets to 16 GPF flow toilets)
- Cost (optional but helpful to see ROI)
- Expected savings (optional but helpful to see ROI)
- Useful life (optional)
- Which utilities are affected?
- Select Create Building Upgrade and Comply will display the Year over Year usage of the building before and after the upgrade.
- You can then filter from usage to cost, the units and the normalization factors.
