Yes, you can add and edit energy, water, and waste manual meters to ENERGY STAR sites in Measurabl. Those new meters/edits will also be pushed to the site in ENERGY STAR automatically every 1-3 days, if it is eligible (Scroll to 'ENERGY STAR Ineligible Meters/Readings Types' for the full list of meters/readings that won't sync into ENERGY STAR).
In short, you can add meters/readings to Measurabl for ENERGY STAR sites without having to go through ENERGY STAR to do it.
Note: This sync also works in the reverse - if you add any meters/readings in ENERGY STAR sites, it will automatically sync into Measurabl (Every 1-3 days).
How do I know if my sites/meters/readings are syncing into ENERGY STAR properly?
To ensure that your property information and meters updated within Measurabl are pushed to ENERGY STAR, be sure that your site and meters are shared with 'Full Access' permissions from your ENERGY STAR account.
Note: The meters that are pushing into ENERGY STAR are marked with 'Synced', whereas those that are not pushing into ENERGY STAR are marked as 'Not Synced'.
ENERGY STAR Ineligible Meters/Readings Types
There are certain circumstances where a meter is NOT eligible to be pushed into ENERGY STAR from Measurabl. Ineligibility is primarily due to meter and unit type restrictions (there are some meters and unit types that Measurabl supports that are not supported in ENERGY STAR).
If a meter falls under any of the ineligible categories, then the meter will be created and visible within Measurabl, but will not push into the site in ENERGY STAR. Please refer to the lists below which outline the ineligible meter types and unit combinations.
Refer to this list below for ineligible meter types that won't sync into ENERGY STAR:
NOTE: Any meter type that was created in another currency other than USD won't sync into ENERGY STAR.
