This article will discuss how to share a property between two Energy Star accounts, and then ultimately how to share it into Measurabl.
Scenario: A 3rd party Energy Star account created a property, and it is not shared into the main Energy Star account that is synced with Measurabl. The property needs to be shared into Measurabl, but you don't have access to that 3rd party account.
- First, you will want to identify the property PDA (Property Data Administrator) in Energy Star. This is the account that owns the property record. This information is found within the property on the 'Portfolio' > Summary tab > Scroll to the bottom, and there is a 'Sharing this Property' box with whom the property is shared with.
- If you do not have access to find this information, you will want to reach out to your internal team to find out who the Energy Star owner of the property is or if the property is shared into another account with Full Access (& sharing forward capabilities), that account can also share forward the property.

Request to have the PDA (or another account with sharing forward capabilities) to share the property into the Energy Star account synced with Measurabl with Full Access.
- If you don't know what the username of the Energy Star account that synced with Measurabl is, login into Measurabl, and check the banner above the 'Sites' table, where you can see the Energy Star username for your portfolio. NOTE: Only portfolio members/managers can view this information.

- Once the property is shared into the main Energy Star account that is synced with Measurabl, you will now need to share the property into Measurabl.
- After successfully sharing the property into Measurabl, you will have to click the 'Sync' button in Measurabl for it to show up on the 'Sites' page in your portfolio.
- NOTE: Only portfolio members/managers can use the Energy Star 'Sync' button.
