This article briefly describes all the bulk uploading functions & templates in Measurabl. If you have a batch of data to upload, and you don't want to input it manually, you can fill out one of these templates, and our team will upload the data for you. Click on the template title to go to the template specific instructions and to download the template.
General Instructions:
- All headers that are green in the template are required fields to fill out. If it is blue, it is optional, and you can leave the cell blank. Note that some fields may be conditionally optional - meaning the field may be blue to start, but will turn green if it becomes required based on other information you add.
- Make sure the building name matches exactly how it is in Measurabl.
- If there is a dropdown menu in any of the cells, please use one of the options from the menu.
- All dates should be in MM/DD/YYYY format.
- Only input 1 line of data per row.
- Please do not add additional columns, fields, or alter the template in any way.
- Bulk uploads can not be reversed once they are processed by our team, so it is important to quality check the data before submitting it.
Once you've completed the bulk upload, you can send it to us for processing.
Sites, Meters, Readings Template
- FUNCTION: To create new manual sites, meters and readings. Cannot update existing sites, meters, or readings.

Meters & Readings Template
- FUNCTION: To create meters and add readings to those new meters in bulk on existing buildings. You cannot update existing meters or readings using this template.

- FUNCTION: To add readings to existing manual meters in bulk. You cannot update existing readings using this template.

Site Supplement Templates

FUNCTION: To alter or add building characteristics or data to existing buildings in Measurabl in bulk. There are 6 main functions (download each template by clicking on the name):
- Basic Attributes: Add or update the building profile information.
- Occupancy: Add percentages of the property space that is rented in monthly, quarterly, or yearly periods.
- Fair Market Value: Add the price(s) of an asset.
- Projects: Add efficiency/improvement measures implemented at a property.
- Audits: Add any type of assessment or study conducted at a property.
- Construction Stages: Add new construction or major renovations done at the property.

Add Site Manager Template
- FUNCTION: To add 1 or more site managers to 1 or more properties in Measurabl. They can be new users, or you can add properties to an existing user's access.

Add Property Spaces Template
- FUNCTION: To add new spaces to an existing property in Measurabl. This can not overwrite any existing spaces at a property.

Connect Accounts Template
- FUNCTION: To enroll multiple Connect accounts at once, OR to switch a Connect account type from 'Linked with Utility Provider' to 'Bill Upload' (or the reverse) in bulk.
