Building Detail puts everything about one building on a single page: its meters, spaces, data issues, and records, with a summary of the building's health at the top.
This article will help you:
- Open a building's detail page
- Read the summary and the Building Trends chart
- Move between the building's tabs
- View the Building Profile
Before you start
Anyone who can see a building can open its detail page.
Open a building
1. In the side navigation, under Data Manager, select Buildings.
2. Find the building. You can sort and filter the list.
3. Select the building's row. The building opens on its Meters tab.
What's on the page
Building Detail: building header, summary cards and Building Trends
Header. The building name, address, floor area (in your preferred unit) and property type, with a Building Profile button on the right.
Summary cards.
| Card | What it shows |
| Property Manager | The building's property manager. If there's more than one, a +N badge shows how many more. Select the copy icon to copy their email address |
| Open Outliers | Readings flagged as unusually high or low, across all time |
| Open Gaps | Periods with no reading, across all time |
| Open Account Issues | Problems with the building's utility accounts |
| Active Meters | Meters currently active at the building |
| Active Spaces | Spaces currently active at the building |
Select Open Outliers, Open Gaps or Open Account Issues to go straight to that tab.
Building Trends. A chart of the building's use over time. Choose electricity, fuel, district energy or water from the drop-down list. Turn on Break out by meter to see each meter as its own line.

View the Building Profile
Select Building Profile in the header. A panel opens on the right with three sections.
The Building Profile panel showing Property Details and Site Managers
| Section | What it shows |
| Property Details | Site name, address, unit or suite, city, state or province, zip or postal code, country, property type, class, year built, floor area, custom ID |

Property type and floor area are calculated from the building's spaces. Select View spaces next to either one to see the spaces behind it.

Common questions
Can I edit the Building Profile here? Not yet. Editing the profile in Navigate is coming soon. Until then, make profile changes in Core: select the grid icon at the top left of the side navigation, then Core.
Why is a building missing from my list? You only see buildings in the portfolio you've selected, and only those your role covers. Check the portfolio switcher at the top of the page.
Why does the property type look wrong? It's calculated from the building's spaces. Select View spaces to check how the spaces are set up.
What period does Building Trends cover? January to December of the current year, by month, with last year as a comparison line. It counts active meters only and uses your preferred energy and water units.
Can I export the building page? Not the page or the Building Trends chart. The Meters, Spaces, Outliers, Gaps and Account Issues tabs each export to Excel.
Why do I see both Property Manager and Site Managers? They're the same people: the users assigned to manage the building. The summary card calls them Property Manager, and the Building Profile lists them under Site Managers.
